We’re delighted to share that Dr Bryony Ross, Principal Consultant Toxicologist and Team Leader of Human Safety at Blue Frog Scientific, has been appointed as a full member of the Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment (COT).
COT is an independent scientific advisory committee that provides guidance to the UK Food Standards Agency, Department of Health and Social Care, and other government bodies on matters relating to chemical toxicity. The committee plays a critical role in shaping UK policy to ensure public health is protected through evidence-based assessments of chemical risks.
Bryony’s appointment reflects her outstanding expertise in reproductive toxicology, alongside her broader work in human health risk assessment. With significant expertise in regulatory toxicology and human health assessment under UK and EU regulatory regimes, Bryony brings valuable scientific insight to COT’s mission.
