Steven is a Senior Regulatory Consultant with extensive experience in chemical regulations across the UK and EU. He is a regulatory specialist with in-depth expertise in REACH and CLP, and has supported clients across a wide range of chemical sectors.
Steven has a dual role within Blue Frog Scientific, working within the Project Management and Environmental Safety Teams.
Steven is responsible for the project management and delivery of complex regulatory projects, including the preparation and update of REACH registration dossiers, support during authority evaluation processes, and strategic regulatory planning to help companies meet their compliance obligations. His work includes managing dossier updates for tonnage upgrades, following Data Gap Analysis and ECHA compliance checks, with a particular focus on EU REACH.
Steven also works in the Environmental Safety Team supporting data gap analysis, study monitoring, environmental hazard and risk assessment with a focus on REACH, and relevant experience in Pharmaceuticals and Plant Protection Products.
Steven graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Management from the University of Edinburgh. He has a background in contract research organisations, specialising in environmental fate. After conducting contract research, he moved into role within a regulatory affairs consultancy primarily covering the areas of REACH, BPR and PPP regulations.
